Brief:
Honda CRF250L
Create an initial look and feel to promote the launch of the new Honda CRF250L motorcycle across print and web mediums.
What was
produced?
The CRF250L is the kind of motorbike that attracts extreme sports enthusiasts. They want an upgrade from their first 100cc dirt bike to something more robust that’s able to handle some of the harder tricks. I wanted to create a look and feel which drew inspiration from the grunge style you see in a lot of surf and skateboard magazines. I treated the design like an artists canvas playing around with textures and patterns until I created a unique design to work across the different mediums.
The first initial piece of creative was a press ad which would be placed in a handful of motorbike publications. This would form the basis of the creative which would then lead onto the digital assets

Promotional video
The graphical elements created for the print piece were integrated into the promotional video including some typographical video indents.
